What is Self-Confidence? Although self-confidence can mean various things to different people, actually it simply means having faith in yourself. Confidence is, in part, a result of how we've been mentioned and the way we've been taught. We learn from others the way to believe ourselves and the way to behave - these lessons affect what we believe about ourselves and people. Confidence is additionally a result of our experiences and the way we've learned to react to different situations. Self-confidence isn't a static measure. Our confidence to perform roles and tasks and affect situations can increase and reduce, and a few days we may feel more confident than others.
